" We were at the hotel for four nights. This was our second stay. I grew up in Greencastle and I try to stay here when I can because the choices in Greencastle hotels is slim at best. Only 3 real hotels in GC and the other two are from the 60's and are actually Motels. DePauw Inn is a 21st century hotel. The ONLY thing that I can't seem to wrap my mind around is why the architect designed it with elevator access to only the 3rd floor. If you are on the 1st or 2 nd floor you have to take the stairs. NOT a full flight but about 8-10 steps. First floor is half in the ground, think split level ranch layout. The only ice machine is on the 3rd floor. The restaurant is a nice place to grab a bite and are reasonably priced. I will be back if they aren't booked up on one of my spontaneous trips! Otherwise I usually stay in Cloverdale but I hate that drive. Last but not least I want to say a special thank you to the DAYtime front desk staff. Unfortunately this trip was for a family illness and she was so kind and very helpful. I recommend this place!!! "
