"This property had everything we needed and more. The rooms were cozy and the beds comfortable. We were a party of 9 ranging from 15 year old to 60s. The younger crowd loved hanging downstairs in the game room. They played ping pong and watched movies. The bunk room was perfect for them as well. We all had plenty of space. We loved seeing deer and even horses! There were 2 different types of coffee pots, which I appreciated because we don’t love Keurig coffee. Also had a tea kettle. The town was adorable. Some of our crowd was gluten free so Kennabelle’s Bakery on Burro St. was amazing with several options. We went there most days of our stay. Oh and Black Bear Coffee, the burrito truck and Mad Jack’s barbecue were amazing! I could go on and on. "

"The cabin is small and cozy. Made for a perfect weekend getaway. Literally at a great trail for hiking or running. Location to town is great as well. Cannot tell you enough how much we loved this! Host was great, and very accommodating."

"My husband and I wanted a quick winter getaway in the mountains (with our two dogs) - Cloudcroft was perfect for this and so was the little cabin, Grizzly’s Getaway. Grizzly’s Getaway has rustic cabin charm and all the amenities one might need for a comfortable stay.The owners, Paola and Damian, are EXCEPTIONAL HOSTS. We will definitely be contacting them in the future for another stay in Beautiful Cloudcroft! "

"Beautiful old hotel, the room was lovely and the bed super comfy. I especially liked the radiant floor warming in the bathroom. The onsite restaurant’s food was ok but extremely slow. "

"Overall what a wonderful experience at this cabin! My family and I regularly stay at cabins in cloudcroft for vacations, we have tried many, and this will be a cabin we book again. It was very easy to get to, the information online and on the listing was plentiful. The driveway was large and easy to park 4 vehicles in. The cabin itself is beautiful, and I appreciated the mini biography written on the cabin and its construction. The view was gorgeous, and we loved how close the Lincoln forest was, being quite literally in the backyard! We had a lot of deer and animal sightings which was very exciting and magical especially for our little ones! The cabin was well stocked with all the necessities including some extra laundry detergent and dryer sheets. The rooms were great and the kids had a blast with the ps3 games and foosball table! We loved how child oriented everything was and with the exception of the stairs the entire home was very child friendly. All the children had a great time here and had so much fun with all the provided activities and toys. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked . We have nearly no complaints other than we wish the beds were a bit more comfortable and bigger. We will book again in the future! It was well worth the price. "
