We were surprised that we had to light an antiquated boiler each time in order to obtain hot water. There was no WiFi connection. Although the property was described as being in Concarneau, it was some distance from the town. "Es waren 2 erholsame (leider zu kurze) Urlaubswochen. Dazu passte das modrn ausgestattete Ferienhaus perfekt. Es war nicht weit zum Hafen und zu den Stränden. Die Vermietrin war jederzeit bereit, unsere Fragen in der Zeit zu beantworten. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und wir können das Haus allen empfehlen, die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen. Vielen Dank noch einmal Gerlind."

"Villa les Pins is stylishly but also very functionally designed and decorated. Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures and even better. The terrace was wonderful with superb views to the sea. The location was peaceful and perfect for jogs and walks along the seaside path and visits to the centre of Concarneau. We will definitively come back to this house!"

"Was greeted by the owners who were very informative. House is lovely and spotless. A cost of €15 for each bed is a little excessive, €5 per towel is expensive. We had to buy hand soap and tea towels as these were not supplied (thought the would be)! Garden is massive and we had full use of bicycles, surfboards and garden toys. Great place to stay although the stairs are polished which makes them slippy (one of our party fell down the bottom few on day of departure) . Apart from the few negatives...

"Comfortable accommodation, with easy access to the small ferry which takes you across to the Old Town. Well equipped kitchen although a good choice of restaurants in the town itself. Good links to routes to a range of picturesque beaches. Overall, an excellent break!"

"Lovely, quirky house in a great location with friendly neighbours. The house is a combination of old and new. Most of the downstairs is old with very thick walls. This helps it to keep a pleasant temperature. All the windows and doors have shutters so these also keep the house nice and cool in hot weather. The lounge is lovely with a comfy sofa and a large tv. The kitchen has very good facilities. Not much storage space but we moved things around. The main bedroom is at the front of the house,...

"Es hat uns sehr, sehr gut gefallen. Die Einrichtung ist altmodisch, aber gerade das gefällt uns. Das Haus ist Schmuck und ein typisches Haus der Bretagne. Genau das, was wir wollten!"
