"Really lovely property, nice and cosy. Only small bugbear is that some kitchen items were grimy/icky to the point that we bought cutlery from Boyes to use. Regarding parking, we have a long car (wide estate) but it has good manoeuvrability. Having said that, it was a parking space that we had to reverse out of and then down the entry lane. So we were fine with one person guiding (to avoid the stone walls) but it might not be good for some cars"

"This a nice little house in Alferton, it was great for myself, a friend and my large dog. It was well equipped and comfortable. It was a little dated upstairs and there was no photos of details of the bedrooms but they were clean and well catered. My friend who stayed in the back room noted the boiler (which is in that room) is very noisy and kept her up but that wouldn’t bother some people. "The road up is definitely steep. And hard to park. But its a great location. Close to the cable cars. The house is kind of oddly decorated but was clean and loved the view from the table outside in the morning."

"This was basic accommodation with no frills. Ideal if you are just looking for something very basic to sleep and spending the evening in. Everything was clean and tidy on arrival. The kitchen had everything if you wanted to self cater for yourselves. The only person I spoke to during my stay was a stable hand. I never meet the owner. I would be happy to stay here in the future."

"It was a comfortable stay. There were a few things that could be seen as a safety issue but nothing that’s not fixable. The radiators didn’t work and the room did get quite cold but other than that it was a secure and safe place. I didn’t have to worry about people coming in and out of the building because of the key codes which is good! I would stay here again as it’s quite affordable and again, a comfortable stay.
