"This property was so nice, that I did not want to leave. It was cozy, well stocked, well maintained, and comfortable. Not far off the beaten path yet still secluded. I loved hearing the flowing river in the mornings and evenings. Our host, the Rowlands was easily accessible and responsive within minutes. Just an incredible slice of paradise. We will be back!"

"A couple friends and I went fishing on the upper James and rented the River's Bend cabin. What a fabulous place! The cabin was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with everything we needed for a 3-day getaway. There are beautiful views of the river from the multi-level back deck and the screened in porch overlooking the mountains was a great spot for a nap or evening cocktail. "This place was a little slice of heaven for me. I was looking for a peaceful, rural retreat in the mountains where I could hang out with my two dogs and work on writing my next novel. This was the perfect property for such a time and purpose. Not to mention that everywhere you look there is a view good enough for a postcard. I loved every minute of my time, and so did the pups!"

"Such an incredible stay! We spent the weekend here with 2 babies under 2 and it was the perfect spot to relax while letting the little ones roam! A short drive to Hot Springs for a trip to the winery or brewery is also a must."

Unfortunately, the power was out half of our stay because of the hurricane but the house was still comfortable with many windows we could open and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy during the day. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit, grill and outdoor picnic area. We'd stay again if we are ever in the area! "
