"The cottage is superbly located to the village. We went on an organised Doc Martin tour which was good fun and very informative. The house was spacious but unfortunately the sheets on both double beds were stained, which was not great as after a long journey, we were very tired and had to sleep on top of the beds for the first night until next day. "We stayed here mainly because it had a free parking spot right in front of the cottage. It was located midway between the platt and the co-op for groceries. Having a kitchen and store nearby helped us to not have to eat out every meal, but there are many great restaurants in the area. The living room window has a nice view of Lobber Point and if you stretch your neck and look right, the sea comes into view! PI is full of noisy seagulls and Cobblers is no exception. They live on the roof and squawk all night. This actually didn't bother us at all! The beds are fairly comfortable with nice fluffy duvets. Washer:dryer combo is nice to have as long as loads are small and you can wait a long time for it to dry. The cabin has lots of storage with a nice bathroom and shower. Towels are furnished. Bring your own wash cloth if you need that. Living room furniture is comfortable and the TV is small but you can get Netflix and You Tube as well as local stations. It was cool watching the Fisherman’s Friends movie while we sat there listening live to the same sea gulls!! The walk down to the platt takes about 5 minutes. Coming back is mildly strenuous. The walk up to the Co-op and the top of the village restaurants is a little more strenuous. Just take it slow! This is a wonderful, friendly village and worth the trip! Things to do in P.I. Walk and Talk Doc Martin tour - ask for Mike! Boaty with Jeremy Brown, sea glass hunting, & spotting the Fisherman’s Friends and more!! Enjoy!"

"Nicely decorated. Kitchen well stocked. We were expecting a courtyard to sit in, but is was a car park."

"The property was very clean and well furnished, with comfortable beds. The bathroom is well appointed, and comes with lovely, fluffy soft white towels. We received a welcome kit with tea, coffee, and biscuits, and found scones, jam, and clotted cream in the refrigerator. The Stanley House met our needs and was as described (the only discrepancy we found was that there was no clothes dryer--I even read the manual for the washer online to see if it was a combo washer/dryer). But that is a minor issue. We were right across the street from The Golden Lion Inn, where we were lucky enough to hear sea shanties on our first night. Also we were only 2 houses down from Nathan Outlaw's Fish Kitchen (fabulous) and The Mote (wonderful) and the Platt, the harbor. Right next door there are wonderful traditional Cornish pasties and yummy sandwiches at Nicky B's. We also had a lovely breakfast at the top of Fore Street at the Cornish Cove. Walking up and down the village each day did great things for our cardiovascular health! I would caution Americans that the roads in Port Isaac are very narrow, and I would recommend just packing a small jump bag to carry down to (and back up from) the house rather than thinking that you can park in front and unload a lot of luggage. I'd also warn people to be cautious using GPS to approach Port Isaac. Map to the New Road, or you'll find yourself on the very precarious (for the driver) but beautiful (for the passengers) road through Port Gaverne"

"Absolute stunning property with all the quirks you would expect of an original Port Isaac fishing village cottage. Bed comfortable, bedding high quality. Highly recommended. Had problems with WiFi but pretty sure that's a location issue. "

"This was our first visit to Cornwall and Port Isaac. Waypast was a great location for us. We thoroughly enjoyed Port Isaac, especially as the daily tourist rush reduced and things became quieter in the evening. We enjoyed sitting on the platt for the evening with a drink from The Mote. Fortunately, we had incredibly good weather. The cottage is so comfortable. It is well equipped, lots of room and well located for walking around Port Isaac. With both a front and back garden we had outside options regardless of the time of day. Also, being next to The Cornish Cove Tea Room is a bonus. Athena was so helpful since we were new to the area. There is no parking for Waypast but for two nights, Port Isaac Bay Holidays had some parking nearby at another property that was not occupied so they offered that parking to us. It was so convenient. We highly recommend Waypast and Port Isaac Bay Holidays!"
