"Check in instructions were clear and came in plenty of time. Mick greeted us upon arrival as he lives a few doors down. Parking was ample and felt secure off the road in a private car park. The house was very clean and well catered for. It had Virgin TV with most channels available, which was a welcome addition. The only issue we had was getting a WiFi signal, which we needed to be near the front window for. I assume this may be because the extender wasn't working correctly to pick up the signal...

"The property online looked clean and great decor. However when we got there there was a nasty smell, dirty carpets, leak from the radiator in the bathroom With paint peeling off the radiator, dirt on the walls, no way of closing the blinds unless stretching up to turn the button, mould around the sink, dirty oven, sloping stairs which made climbing them extremely dangerous, intermittent internet and tv not working. We did call but no one got back to us although they said they would. We left...

"Family lives in the house and they do not Care if you want to sleep or not. Booked for 4, got bed for 2 only. So me and my daughter ended up sleeping on the couch covered with our coat. We got 1 towel in total only. "Lovely clean property, the children really enjoyed the games. We were very pleased with the little extras that the owners have available like tea & coffee. 40 mins from Alton Towers was very handy with a Tesco enroute so we could get any bits we needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in the future when in the area. "

"Good location, staff was friendly and gave us recommendation about where to go in Birmingham. We had a problem with the shower drain, it took a long time for the water to go down the drain. We have informed the reception about the problem but it was not addressed. The sheets for the sofa bed had stains on it and we were not sure if it was washed or not. Other than that, the property was alright if you need a place to stay that is accessible to everything. "
