We only had 2 nights in wells grey but are really pleased we chose the ranch. The cabins are fabulous and the ranch is really well located to be able to make the most of the park in the short time we had. The drinks were wonderfully cold and the food was great 👍 super friendly staff as well!
We loved our stay. The ranch was very welcoming and had all the amenities that we needed in a beautiful wooden cottage.
The team at the ranch are friendly, including the lovely dogs, cats, chickens and horses!
The experience was amazing. Room was equipped with everything we needed. Convenient location to explore nearby waterfalls and trails.
The only complaint was we woke up to weedeating at 845 am Sunday morning.
My friends and I enjoyed our recent 3 night stay at Wells Gray Guest Ranch - we watched the horses feed in the morning - saw a fox walking across the field in the evening - hiked some trails and enjoyed visiting the multiple water falls in the area. The accommodations were as expected - the ambiance and beauty better than expected. If you want to escape the business of life - spring - summer - fall or winter - this is a beautiful / relaxing place to do it.
Listed VRBO photos don’t do this place justice—the setting is absolutely beautiful and serene, clean and very quiet. It’s so relaxing. Building designs are creative, and staff are helpful and friendly. It’s a great location for Wells Gray exploration! There was a pair of sandhill cranes on the property while we were there, as well as farm animals, black bear and deer nearby. The log cabins are clean and simple, and being remote, don’t have many electrical outlets, nor reliable wifi…yet truly, you hardly notice being “unplugged” with such lovely evenings spent on the wide front porches, reading or watching the sunsets. (There is a TV, for which DVDs can be checked out at the front desk.) The nights are quite dark, so bring a nightlight for navigation to the (indoor) bathrooms.
The ranch is set in a beautiful setting. I had been looking forward to seeing the horses grazing in front of the cabins but it was our bad luck that they had to be put in a different pasture for their safety against a couple of ornery pregnant cows.
The rustic cabins were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchenette is small but sufficiently stocked for cooking/heating a small meal. Two things that would be a nice addition is a nightlight and a couple of ice cube trays. We ate at the Saloon and when we asked for ice water and ice for the cider we were told there was no ice machine. An investment that I am sure would be very much appreciated by the guests.
The ranch is great for those wanting to take a break from their usual connected lives. Not so for anyone that is needing to do work while on the road and needing a strong wifi connection. Most of the time it and texting were not available.
We had a very pleasant stay. . It is in a great location for seeing the waterfalls and accessing the hiking trails. We weren’t able to ride but a neighbouring cabin went out on the trail twice and had a lovely time.

Our two night stay was exactly what we were looking for. Peace and quiet in the country! We spent the days hiking and exploring the waterfalls and quiet evenings under the stars at the ranch. Our cabin was very clean and just as described and the beds were very comfortable, the fireplace was so nice on the cool evenings.
Definitely want to go back in the winter.
We stayed 4 nights at the ranch, wish we stayed longer. Daniel and Elvira were friendly and always available. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our cabin was big, cozy, super clean. We loved sitting on the wrap-around covered porch and staring off at the pasture and mountains and watched the sun go down each night. So quiet and peaceful, just want we were looking for. We did a horseback ride with Elvira. She was very knowledgeable and matched our ride to our experience. Being with the horses was a highlight of our trip. Will definitely stay here again to enjoy all that Wells Gray Park has to offer.
Amazing getaway! Away from the hustle and bustle of the city
Elvira and Daniel are such a great host! The property are well-maintained, very clean and views are stunning. Overall experience is a five star. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing lodge and experience. Lovely owners who took care of so many details and were available for any questions of help without being intrusive. The property was beautiful. Views amazing. We sat and watched the sunset every night. It was so good, I booked to go back in two weeks with my children!!!!
We had such a lovely time at wells gray guest ranch. The kids loved the horses and open fields. Very cute cabin with everything we needed for the family. Our hosts went out of there way to ensure our stay was very special. Will be back again soon!
What an amazing stay we had. The process for check was simple and the hosts are very friendly. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our two night stay. The place is very peaceful and so close to all the wonderful waterfalls. Would highly recommend.
The Wells Gray Guest Ranch is a perfect getaway for anyone who wants to take a break from fast paced city life and enjoy the calmness of nature. Located about 25 mins drive north of Clearwater town, this ranch offered a pleasant stay in logged guest houses surrounded by vast greenery. The rooms were super clean and fully equipped including kitchen, bathroom, and bedding. Elvira and her husband were very generous and accommodating hosts and even offered us horse riding on their well-trained western horses. This was the highlight of our trip and is a highly recommended and enjoyable activity for young and old alike. Overall, we had a wonderful time staying here and would love to visit it again in the future.
We stayed for two nights and the hosts were wonderful. Their property is gorgeous and so relaxing. We had everything we needed with the room and it was very clean. It is very close to the falls. We would absolutley stay there again and recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Clearwater area.Thank you so much !
If you want to get away and disconnect this is the place to go. Our trip included a horseback ride during our 4 day stay. Elvira was very knowledgeable and safe. We are intermediate riders and she provided us with a few challenges but we felt accomplished at the end. The beds were sooo comfy and loved the mini kitchenette so we could make our own camping favourites. Everything was clean and organized. There were a number of storms that passed thru on our last night but we were told ahead of time that power might go out and be prepared which we were. Wifi still worked for our movie that night. We saw deer, sand Cranes and a wolf/fox in the field across from our cabin. I would highly recommend this place if you want to be glampung. We were away for one day overnite and soooo looked forward to getting back from our home away from home. Wifi is good for checking texts and emails. We did one facetime meeting with back home. You just have to find the right spot in the cabin to do it from.
