"Five ladies on a little vacation. This was perfect for us. Very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed watching the geese, swans, ducks and muskrats from the cabin. Deer were everywhere. Lots of very comfortable beds to choose from. And all our questions were answered very promptly. Thanks for the great stay!"

"We had a wonderful stay. Dan and Norah were easy and timely to communicate with. All questions answered quickly and they were very willing to make sure the stay was everything we hoped it would be. The views and privacy are very nice. The home is comfortable - both fireplaces inside work nicely, and furniture is very comfortable. Location is nice - quiet, yet only 15 minutes from multiple towns for food, drinks, activities. We'd definitely go back in the future!"

"Overall nice property and quiet. Was a little disappointed we couldn’t have a fire because they had pulled the dock and boat-lift out of the lake and it was too close to the fire pit to have a fire. Also was woken up multiple times late at night by what sounded like tannerite. It sounded so loud like it was next door and shook the house. This is at no fault of the owners, just a heads up if you come with littles who are lite sleepers. "

"We had a relaxing stay. Great restaurants and shops to wander thru. Lake is super clean. Only downside to our party of 4 older gals was steep steps with no handrail and bunkhouse with no bath which didn't work for us. Super clean and well stocked. Thank you Kristen! party of 4"

"We loved our stay at the cute cabin in the woods. The lake was so peaceful with the view of a dairy farm across the way. It was just what we needed. The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. Wish we could have stayed longer and invited some people to enjoy it with us as there were plenty of beds for sleeping. A nice kitchen for cooking and my favorite 3 season porch. "

"This location on Balsam Lake was great. The host was very good at communication. Cabin is right in the lake. Has a nice dock for a boat. And this Cabin is 5 minutes from downtown Balsam that has great bars, restaurants and a newer brewery. My wife and twin 13 year old kids had a great time. The cabin is well equipped with dishes and cooking utensils. We will stay again!"

"This is an amazing home. For us the location is ideal. We found enjoyable things to do in four nearby towns. We had a large extended family gathering to celebrate several anniversaries and birthdays. Florida, Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota were all represented. "This property was absolutely perfect for our group. Beautifully appointed home on a lovely property with water views. All of the beds were comfy and the Master bedding was luxurious. Weather didn't allow us to have a bonfire or spend much time outdoors, but the view from the dining area was awesome and the space was perfect for playing games and enjoying cocktails.
