"Weekend trip to explore the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest Experience. House was a perfect location!"

"Note: "Pet Friendly" only extends to dogs under 20 pounds. The park trails along the Potomac were its best feature. They start just a very short walk from the front door. The house worked out very well for us. It was sparsely furnished and some elements were slightly shabby, but it was fine as we were most interested in getting together. It was excellent value for the many bedrooms. Just don't expect a mansion. "

"We had 14 people stay throughout the weekend. Plenty of room to join the fun or find a quiet space. The views were stunning and kitchen was well appointed. Everyone slept wells so the beds are great. You have a small town about 4 miles away were you can pick up items you may need. Harris Teeter is 12 miles away. Great stay! Vonda "

"We spent a thanksgiving at the farm and it was great. The animals are fun to feed and the house had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked as well."

"Gayfield Manor is an adventure in history and about family. We had the opportunity to stay in the “Scientist’s Suite.” Looking at the pictures, leafing through the books, the pieces to the puzzle began to connect. "Waterford is far enough away from Washington, but close enough to make a weekend getaway easy. And staying at Scarlet Springs Farm for the weekend was truly the icing on the cake. And Laura and her family made our stay even better. The house is well appointed - fantastic kitchen, comfy beds, beautiful views from back deck. This is a wonderful location to visit so many interesting vineyards, farm stands, nurseries, and some very nice restaurants in Purcellville. We look forward to visiting...

"We stayed in Hamilton for a long weekend for my husband’s birthday. The location is convenient to get to surrounding areas but also private enough to feel like a vacation. The house is great and furnished nicely. Loved walking around the pond with our dog and saying hi to the nearby horse. Sunsets were beautiful over the pond. The house was very cold in some areas, but that was probably because we stayed on the coldest night of the year. Would love to stay during summer to use the pool."

"Water pressure was terrible in the kitchen and shower. Furniture broken. Coffee but No filters for coffee maker. Too expensive for 2-3 hours late check out. "
