"This is a beautiful home in a very private neighborhood. The photos do not do this home justice; it is much more elegant, clean, and well-situated than a picture can capture. I will say you do need a car. While there are advantages to staying outside of Madrid (about 1.15 hours) for access to the nearby supermarket and restaurants, one needs a vehicle despite the short distance. "This is a hidden gem. I really loved my large beautifully decorated room with a terrace. The staff were very responsive. Excellent service, very convenient location, beautiful decor, classy and authentic breakfast. I would highly recommend it and I will come back."

"We love this hotel and have been here many times. It’s simple in terms of decor. Our bed this time (rm 403) was the most comfortable we’ve had. It’s a small room, not for too tall people as an alcove. Best location, super staff, lovely bar and outdoor seating, less than a minute to the Monastery and all the best restaurants."

Unique property

"Staff at Palacio de Valderrabanos was great as they were very helpful even as we made our check-in an hour after new years. The property is amazing and with a very rich history, so very recommendable to stay. Parking was not that close and was not part of the hotel, but is understandable in such a historic landmark. Extremely recommended."
