"Hickory House is the perfect place for our multigenerational family/friends group to reconnect and enjoy some snow fun. The house is great, with extra kitchen space and a perfect table for meals or game nights. The hot tub is a relaxing treat after a day of skiing. Kudos to the plow team who kept the roads to the house well groomed! We had a great stay!"

"It was a great stay! The hosts were super easy to contact and very friendly when answering questions. The property was exactly what we needed. A good central location, clean and accessible too. "A beautiful spot, the location was spectacular, other than the two mile trail getting to the house it didn’t help that it snowed the night before making it a little interesting getting down the mountain. The only thing I was a little bit sad with the American flag outside. It was very tattered. Being a veteran and a member of a VFW I dispose of it in a the proper way. We all enjoy our stay and it’s a beautiful place. "

It was a beautiful area, the view was absolutely stunning, extremely quiet, the house was in excellent condition, we had all of the amenities we needed to make it a much more relaxing stay. "My husband and I, along with our pup, stayed here while we hiked and enjoyed a fall getaway. The property was clean and comfortable. Hot tub was also very clean and enjoyable. We spent most of our time hiking so we didn’t have much time left over to take full advantage of the activities provided by the host. Communication with Tiffany was convenient and easy. She was very responsive to any questions we had. Would stay here again!"

"This house was one of those old spacious houses that make you want to go buy one tomorrow. I especially enjoyed the dinning room and the living room. It was incredibly peaceful watching the fire crackle while the new year came in and than in the morning watching my kids eat breakfast with the snowfall as a back drop in the bay window. We have no complaints although anyone wanting to experience this house do take the property managers warning on no local grocery stores. We did but we thought...

"This was our second stay at Riverside Retreat and we hope to come back in the future. The cabin is clean, it has a great open floor plan, and the bed is super comfortable. The best feature of the property is the back porch. The view of the river is lovely and we spent hours watching the ducks, kingfishers, and hawks. Our dogs were in heaven, too!"

"My mom, SIL, and I took a much needed three day weekend away to visit the Maple Festival and spend some girl time together. The Cabin at Back Creek is the perfect spot to do that. The proximity to the sites of the festival is perfect; we didn’t feel like we were in the car too long and the views along the drive are amazing.
