"Hanny was a gracious host. Her property is beautifully maintained and the house was very clean. The view is spectacular and the crystal clear water is just a few steps away. "The accommodation was average i'd say... kitchen utensils where limited and no dishwasher... there where a few ants about but nothing major... there where 2 ac units one was super cool and the other not so, however a fan was provided.. towels where an issue as it was a beach holiday and we didnt take beach towels. "My wife and I stayed in this apartment for 5 nights and loved everything about it. It’s in a residential neighborhood and yet a short walk to most things we wanted to explore. The host, Colagero, is a native of Palermo and is a superb resource if you want to find out where to go, where to eat, etc. He and his wife are journalists who have a deep interest in their city as a “crossroads of cultures.” I’ve never had a host from whom I learned so much, and who was such a charming person to talk...

"Stayed for a night here before boarding our cruise ship and we have never been so satisfied! The communication of the host was superb, she communicated before, during and after and met my family and I at the location during checkin to walk us through the VRBO. She also took the time to set up a dinner reservation for us at the best pizza place we’ve ever had. We have nothing but good things to say! Thank you!"

"This is an absolutely gorgeous apartment, spacious and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities of a modern home. It is located in an area full of restaurants, and was also within walking distance to all the main sights. We are a family of 3 and loved every aspect of our stay. Our host was amazing, answering all our questions promptly regarding parking and restaurants. She even conveniently arranged the car service to the airport for us. We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough!"

"After checking reviews of this place I was a bit worried but overall we did enjoy our stay. We are family of 4 and stayed 7 nights in bungalow. Accommodation was spacious and clean however very outdated. AC only in the bedroom so kids who were sleeping in living/dining area complained of a heat. This is a sport complex which is available to the public so at the weekends quite busy. But plenty of sun beds so no issue with finding a spot. Big swimming pool, however swimming cups are necessary....

"There was no at the reception desk. The property manager accused me of lying about my kids because there were 2 single beds joined but we were 3 people. My daughter had to sleep in the middle of the 2 beds . The pillows were uncomfortable . There was 1roll of toilet paper. I had to go buy my own. I had no internet service. The kitchen was somewhat clean but you could see their storage room that was messy Nd made kitchen aesthetically unappealing. The night table and desk shelf was dusty ."

"Given that it was my first time to Palermo, I didn't know what to expect regarding our accommodations at the Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa. Upon entering the lobby, we knew it was going to be indeed "grand" and live up to its name. The staff was both helpful and friendly and our deluxe double rooms were much larger than one normally encounters in Europe. The hotel is perfectly situated in an area where everything is convenient - from restaurants and bars to shopping and major local attractions. We had a minor maintenance issue during our stay, but it was promptly repaired as soon as we alerted the front desk. More importantly though, this is a hotel where the staff is willing to go above and beyond. When we encountered an issue with our rental car while parking to check in, the hotel General Manager Signore Tintori personally intervened on our behalf, especially valuable since none of us spoke Italian. He quickly diffused the situation and alleviated a problem that could have escalated. He even took the time to follow up the next day to ensure everything was in good order. We couldn't have managed without his assistance. Without hesitation, we would return to this property when visiting Palermo again."
