The wrap-around deck is where we would have liked to spent our time, because it was so serene. Cold, wet weather forced us inside which was fine beacause the kitchen table could accomodate us all once we pulled it away from the window and found stools in the loft. "This house is a perfect lake house with a beautiful view. The house was well stocked and quaint. The outdoor chairs had some dry rot and were torn, but we had extra chairs with us. The dock is spectacular and the fire pit was great at night. We brought firewood but they had plenty, as well. We were there for a Virginia Tech football game and it was about 45 minutes there, but nice to have a place to unwind afterwards. The road to the house is a little treacherous and hard to understand. ...

Couples secluded cabin retreat on Craig’s Creek located in north Botetourt Co Va

"Cabin was very clean. We enjoyed the secluded area and watching the birds and squirls from the porch. Everything we needed was there. A secluded cabin but close enough to the Blue Ridge Parkway and other sites."

They had tons of games to play which really made the family gathering that much more fun. The house is cozy and makes you feel right at home! Perfect for family or friend gathering. "

"Unable to get a hotel room so this was the only alternative. The RV was listed as big enough to sleep 4. Three would have been possible but 4 a stretch and there’s no way 4 people could have taken a hot shower. I got a lukewarm one day one (only in for several minutes) and my son’s was ice cold. Also the place was clean but smelled of stale beer. Also the AC ran constantly even though thermostat was set at 75 degrees. Place was frigid."

"It was absolutely love. Love the history information and the fresh flowers were beautiful. The only suggestions that I would have. To replace the toilet with a tall handicap style toilet, toilet, and make sure that it was fastened well on the floor. Also provide a new mattress for the main floor bed Really hate to say anything about it because it was so lovely. Enjoy the peaceful. Thank you for providing this opportunity."
