Overall, it’s a great hotel, especially its interior. However, it took me 30+minutes checking in and another 30+minutes checking out. I booed this hotel through Expedia, but when I arrived, I was told that they cannot find my reservation. Luckily, one of the front desk people was willing to help even though she still can not locate my booking. It’s not the hotel for English speaker. Otherwise, everything’s great!

Great location
Very close to subway station. Check-in was quick because we arrived at 3 am. Reception staff cannot converse in English; they were friendly. Room was satisfactory and clean. Brighter lighting would be better. Housekeeping was efficient to highlight that I left behind a blouse during check-out.
Breakfast was a bit boring; almost same items for the days we were there.

Located next to 2 metro lines
The hotel is conveniently located above Chongqing metro Line 1 & 3 (exit 1). The hotel is your typical Chinese style hotel where there is a mixed use of businesses and hotel accommodation on top. This means the hotel can be busy during the day when using the lift/elevator.
The hotel & room decor is tired and needs refurbishment. The doors, walls and windows need to be more insulated because you can hear everything from outside. I was located on the 13th floor and I can hear construction (deep excavation) from across the road very loudly. For a rated 3 star hotel, I don't know why they continued to use chipped china and broken items like hot water flasks in their restaurant when these items are cheap to replace.
The hotel is geared towards tour groups so breakfast can be hectic. The breakfast menu is strictly Chinese so no cereal or toasts available. Although the hotels expect you to pay cash and deposit on arrival, they do charge me for one night's stay on my credit card right away when booked. The hotel promised to reimbursed once I completed my stay. As I was traveling with Chinese speakers, I do not know whether the reception staff can speak English or not.
The hotel was great, but the location was fantastic. This hotel is less than one minute walk to the Metro transfer station between lines 3 and 1. I really enjoyed my stay there, and the free breakfast was excellent!
