"Two friends drove from different states and met in the middle...Oxford AL! Enjoyed the house and had plenty of space, enjoyed Hubbards on Main for dinner and a church service nearby. Although we walked a short block to the quaint downtown (truly, so close), we occasionally faced a stray cat or barking dog off leash. Very easy check in and out. Great communication with the host. "I cannot say enough about this beautiful lake house place. The view of the lake is absolutely gorgeous, and the house was spotless clean! We took two of our grandsons on a weekend trip to the lake. We were not expecting kayaks to be included with the rental. This really made our trip extra special. The owner lives next door, and was very quick to answer any questions that we had. We are definitely planning on coming back as often as we can~"
