"Fantastic hotel and restaurant in Albenga. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by the owner by my name and he leaped me to carry my luggage upstairs. My room was very pleasant and very clean, with upscale bed linens and towels, it had a balcony overlooking a nice quiet street. The bathroom was large and well equipped. "Package got delivered to hotel. Hôtel told us that they did not receive a package and nothing was in the mailbox. When we checked in the package was in their mailbox and the lady at the front desk (aka the owner) said, “oh yea, I didn’t check the mailbox, it’s just easier to tell people that we don’t accept packages or didn’t get them.” That cost us an extra $4k on our trip.
