"Great friendly small hotel. Staff were very welcoming at reception and for breakfast. Breakfast is made to order so all freshly cooked with a good selection. We picked a room without a sea view and unfortunately the facing hotel had an air conditioning unit outside our bedroom window which was a bit noisy but didn’t really spoilt our stay too much. "

"Despite bad weather we had a good stay. We stay here regularily out of season for the warm indoor pool and big jacuzzi. The food is not as good as it used to be but is acceptable. Breakfast is good. We always stay in a suite nowadays. Furnishings tired but if the rooms were improved im sure the prices would shoot up. A 'spanish family' style, friendly, welcoming hotel. Always same staff. "

"This is a lovely, comfortable, safe hotel. Location is ideal, just up from the beach & restaurants. The breakfast on the roof top terrace overlooks the beach, the bay and the mountains. All the front desk personal are friendly and helpful. I remember Jesus, Jose Miguel (awesome) and Raquel, but there were others who made me feel at home! I hope to return this Fall or next Spring."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Rural Alfajia de Antonio. We spent 3 nights, two couples traveling together. Our rooms were beautiful and the common areas were wonderful to spend time in. We ate delicious food and took some spectacular hikes. Alberto was very warm and made us feel so welcome and at home. He also gave us really helpful advice. "I benchmark a 5 star experience against chains like the Peninsula. This was a total surprise. Ski weekend and this hotel is perfect. The staff is all in sync and have consistent, excellent professionalism and are just nice people. So many conveniences here for skiers. Right at a chair lift. On site ski rental. Parking. Shuttle. I actually liked the hotel food!!! Nice bar. It really surprised me. The only thing i could possibly critique is the room.doors are not totally soundproof...
