"Room in friendly couple's house. The bed was comfortable and the hospitality great. The exterior had construction in progress (new ADU being built), but not on the days I was there. Room had it's own bathroom and the neighborhood was nice and convenient to parks and stores. Ave. cleanliness--not great (bathroom), but not bad. Reasonable, modest accommodations. Easy parking."

"We stayed at this property for 2 weeks in August 2024…it was clean, comfortable and exactly as pictured online. It was a 10 min drive to Disneyland and close to many shops and restaurants. Prior to our visit I had sent a few messages to the hosts with various questions and they were always quick to reply. We will definitely be booking again on our next trip back to the LA area…highly recommend! "

"I liked that it was comfortable, local to things i went to , it was clean and felt like a home away from home. They left a bottle of wine, and snacks, they had everything we needed. It was a good experience. We stayed 4 nights. I have no complaints. Very nice place."

"Absolutely loved this place! I was traveling by myself for a working holiday and enjoyed every minute of my stay. Gabi was a very thoughtful host that made sure I was well taken care of. Since I was working, I turned the kitchen table into a multi-monitor work station. The chair was surprisingly comfortable for my long hours. More so, the bed was incredibly comfortable. I've had multiple back surgeries, so that was a concern for me. I stayed for almost two weeks and my back had zero problems....

"I chose Sierra Madre cottage as it was close to my daughter’s home. I was greeted by Tom (along with lovely fresh baked goodies from a local bakery). The cottage had everything I need (especially air conditioning as I’m not used to the scorching California sun). The pool was definitely an added bonus. Comfortable Stay Close to Disney

"We love to stay here for our Disneyland trips. It is so convenient to walk to and from the park. Only takes about 7 minutes to walk from the hotel to Disney security. In the warmer months we have enjoyed the pool. Lots of pool activities for kids and adults of all ages to enjoy. There is a bar (or club?) upstairs, and the noise does reach the hotel rooms especially on Friday and Saturday nights. We don't usually mind because we're so tired from Disneyland that we sleep well anyways. If you're a light sleeper, just be prepared for some extra noise at night. Overall, this is a very comfortable stay that is closer to Disney than some of the Disney hotels. This is our go-to stay for our Disneyland trips and we will definitely return."

"Loved staying here. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with special Mickey waffles. Heated pools , slides and movies in the pool were a hit! About 20 mins walk to Disneyland but 10 mins walk to Toy Story parking shuttle that drops you outside Disneyland . Would recommend using the shuttle. "
