"Very pleasant conference / function style hotel. Nothing really wrong with it but a bit impersonal and set on its own away from restaurants and bars. Pool was very dirty - we wouldn't use it. "The stay was good, because it was quite and the location is very convenient for my business trip. Foods is easy to get, supermarkets is just steps away. It has plenty of parking space after working hours. Love the small fridge which can keep my drinks cold. Some disappointment as well, I don't like the smell of the room because the window was locked for safety purpose, I would like to have some fresh air if they can do that. I don't think they vacuum the carpet because I didn't see them do...

"I booked for my father. He said that the room soooooo narrow and smells bad. He doesn’t have a pleasant stay for the night and he don’t want to stay anymore at this hotel. He also mentioned, he told the reception that he will leaving early, and the receptionist overslept and took few minutes to woke them up. Terrible. "

"I loved this unique hotel, it was a tick off the bucket to stay in the rainforest! The staff are so friendly and the food is excellent and great value for money. It is very easy to get to the animal centres and I was still able to access the internet so could order grab taxis. I’d definitely recommend bringing bug spray! 100% would recommend, where else can you stay in the rainforest?!"

"The team at the Losge were so helpful. We were a day late due to a missed connection and we wanted to head into the jungle and they arranged everything for us and even took a day off of our booking to facilitate a stay with their sister lodge at the Kinabantagan River. "Great little hotel with a pool just outside downtown Sandakan. The hotel restaurant was a pleasant surprise, as they had good Malay food and the staff were amazing! Unfortunately they do not open in a timely manner for breakfast. Otherwise a great stay. If you're into history there are some cool photos in the lobby worth checking out. Apparently the property was a former residence of the governor of North British Borneo, and it is nice to see what it and the town used to look like."
