"Staff and management were great and very helpful and friendly . Our room was dated and the walls paper thin ,at one point we woke up thinking someone was walking in our room. You could not hold a private conversation in the room without the occupant next door hearing every word . The view out of the window was a metal roof from the property next door . Only plus points were close to ferry and bus stops and small bit of beach to sit on. "

"It was a great stay. We spent 3 nights at Tides and the service, along with staff couldn’t have been better. It is located directly on the beach and the view from the room was a dream. There was a small balcony overlooking the water perfect for coffee in the morning and cocktails at night. Just want we needed during this short trip. Thank you!"

"The hotel was great. I would NOT recommend using hotels.com to book anything after the stay however. I spent almost an hour attempting to extend the stay for one more night and hotels.com apparently does not have that ability. The hotel apologized even though it was not their fault. Hotel was great, hotels.com service was horrible. "
