"This villa was an absolutely stunning stay. The view of the lake and volcanoes even from the outdoor bathroom were incredible. The villa would get sauna hot in the afternoon sun, with just a standing fan to fight the heat. So we would leave the villa at this time. The hike up to the villa is no joke. "The place is very nice. Built with natural materials - stone/wood/ceramic/metal - it has a nice feeling. It's clean, and the location is great - there are a lot of trees on the lot, so constant birdsong. It's away from the road, so very tranquil. It's easy to get into town by walking or tuc tuc - you can walk along the lake to the Santiago dock, then you have to take the streets. It's a couple of hundred feet from the lake.
