2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
I checked in around 9pm. Just in time to pay a resort fee for the day despite nothing being open.
My status gave me an upgraded room and some credit at the place. I got neither. They gave my room to someone else and said I’d need to move the next day to get the one I booked.
So I was sent on the longest walk I’ve ever taken through uphill corridors that would be a serious problem for anyone who cared about ADA laws. Oh that’s me. Permanent handicap placard since 30. Which I didn’t need since there was none. 15 minutes to get to my room that was in an outdated tower featuring.. nothing. The space where an ice machine would go? Who needs it? Just scrape it off the pavement when you walk by the shortcut to pool… if the unlit stairs don’t have it. Again, not an option. But hey, you can take a 20 minute walk to the lot and then walk the 3 blocks to the building with the pool and spa. Finally. A chance to wear my bathing suit and my parka and snow boots to cross the ice rink of a parking lot. Seriously the only place that truly needs to give people robes to wear definitely didn’t.
I never even set foot in the place since it was too cold and the streets were solid ice. Absolutely not worth the danger. So, I paid $200 a night for a spa weekend at a place that isn’t anything close to a resort. Those tend to have services and amenities that people can use. A golf course isnt a resort. Or maybe it is. I have no idea. Never saw that either, my room faced parking.
