"B&B Ca' Viro was a truly great find. We arrived by bus (from Sondrio train station) which dropped us right outside the front door - all for the measly sum of €2 each. Our room was wonderful and better than expected. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was excellent. "I did not understand when I made the reservation that this is a traditional condo divided into 2 bedroom set ups for rentals. One master ensuite, and 2 bedrooms that use the bathroom in the hallway, which can be awkward. The living room area is shared, as is the kitchen, but guests are not allowed to use the kitchen. "We paid almost $200 for the room for one night and they put us in a room in the back of the hotel where we had to climb up and down ladders to get to, even though the hotel had a very low occupancy rate. In my opinion, if they ever wanted us to return to their hotel in the future, they could have upgraded our room. On the plus side, they did have a shuttle to take us from and to the train station."

"This place is about 20 minutes from city center, not far from the lake. There is a Lidi supermarket at the ground floor. Watch out - the room lacks some of the basic necessities, not even a box of tissues. The electric stove does not work in the room, so we just eat out. We have been to a few different hotels and apartments in Switzerland during our trip. so far this is the worst place we have been to. "

"Absolute lovely home, great stay.Positives: washer and dryer, elevator, off street garage parking, easy walk to the slopes, great water pressure. Location was not too busy, but a short drive from places.Negatives: not many pillows, and I wish some cleaning supplies (spray for counters/tables at least) were available so we could keep the place tidy without having to buy all our own cleaning supplies to just leave behind.Overall- would stay again! "The apartment is actually better than it appears online. The owner was very gracious when meeting us at check-in and explained everything thoroughly. The apartment is probably the best equipped one we have ever rented and the owners thought of every detail in the amenities provided.
