"Nice quiet spot in the woods but very close to San Gimignano. Very clean. Comfortable beds. They don’t provide towels or soaps, but that is clear up front. You can rent towels if you want and they sell soap/ shampoo in the office. "

"The Toscana village is great - so relaxing. The long stay owners are very friendly and helpful, as are the staff. The onsite bar/restaurant is good, as is the pool. There is a local town in easy walking distance with many old buildings, nice bars, and places to eat. "This place should be calle Miramosquito instead of Miramare. This is an outright camp site. And the reality is that you should be prepared to deal with the huge insects that feast on your blood. Bring your bug spray. "We were a group of 7 and rented all 4 rooms in the building. We loved the private, remote location and the outdoor areas - such as the covered seating area next to the grill and games on the lawn! The pool is huge and especially deep! Claudia takes great care of it (we could not find the special sun tan cream that she recommended - for some reason our normal sun tan lotions caused white swimming costumes to go yellow in places). Thankfully I read a review about the mosquitoes so we came well...

"The house is very spacious Just like the garden. We had to share the pool which we didn't know but that turbed out okay. The cutlery and crockery weren 't very clean maybe because the dishwasher didn't work properly. The host / property manager on the other hand was great and helpen us a lot with everything. We had a wonderfull week!"

Great hotel with little perks

"Fab little hotel! Great that there’s a kettle and tea/coffee in the room (unusual for Italy) and the restaurant in the hotel was a bonus. When travelling alone sometimes you just don’t want to go out to find food alone, so that was great. But I’m sure walkable to various restaurants. Early flight but only a 10 minute taxi ride to airport. Will definitely stay again! "

"This is not an hotel or a Bed and Breakfast but a working farm (vineyard and olive groves) with a beautiful guesthouse with comfortable basic bedrooms. The dinners are family style for each room/group and there is only one menu per evening. The dinners were delicious and the wine was very good. There were activities you could sign up for as well. But the greatest part of the property is the views of the vineyards, olive groves, and the Tuscan countryside. Absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful. The family who owns it and their staff were all friendly and helpful. We felt renewed after staying there."
