"This is a beautiful oasis. Terraced gardens and open spaces to sit and enjoy the incredible panoramic views. There are numerous seating areas, lawn chairs… special spots to take in the moment. "There are nearly 30 steps to enter the building. I booked last minute not knowing it would be difficult to enter the building to receive the key. I was lucky the housekeeper was there to help me. Nice experience

"The hostess was very friendly and obviously interested in making us feel comfortable. It was a very nice stay.Due to the parking lots and the partly narrow streets, a scooter is better suited than a car. The village itself it is not far on foot. You can travel the island by public transport well.In the winter half of the year, thermal bathing is only possible to a very limited extent."

Botania Relais & Spa - The Leading Hotels of the World.

"We would come back to Ischia just to stay here again!!!!! The hotel is wonderful! The gardens and grounds are beautiful. Our room felt like it was tucked away in a garden. Private , huge, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was the largest we had while traveling Italy. Now let’s talk about dining… Oh my gosh! Breakfast is awesome. There are so many delicious choices you might forget to go out and explore. Beautiful baked good, omelette station, Fruit, fresh granolas and big displays of their honey. And there is always a mimosas station. The service is top notch and so attentive. We ordered espresso the first morning and never had to order again it was brought when we sat down each morning. We stopped a couple of times at the small bar. The drinks were so perfect and the snacks from the chef each night were a wonderful surprise. Service was perfect. We actually had friends that stay down the hill on the water at a VERY exclusive and very expensive hotel that we invited for drinks and dinner one night. We had cocktails first and the lovely bar and the. dinner in the restaurant. They commented that our hotel was way better than theirs and the food and service was outstanding. We stayed in one rainy day for Spa and Lunch by the pool. The thermal pools are so lovely. They have several water falls that you can stand under that beats down on your neck for a nice massage. There are bubble chairs where you can relax and soak in the rich minerals. Perfect!"

"Absolutely stunning property with beyond helpful staff. The room, views, and amenities were first class. Provision of transportation and access to the beach was such a treat. I would highly recommend staying here and experiencing everything they have to offer. We will be back!!!"

"Very convenient location, near Forio port. Quite noisy, but the windows block most of the noise. The room was super dated with furniture from the ‘70’s. Same with the bar area. The garden is nice with two thermal water pools, plus there’s a warm indoor pool. They have mud treatments and many other treatments in the spa area. Breakfast is crowded and coffee from a machine is not acceptable, especially in the Campania region, which supposedly boasts the best espresso in Italy. Even the coffee from their bar is very mediocre. The staff is welcoming and kind and they do the best they can. With such a prime location, this hotel has great potential and the owners should really improve the room decor and the breakfast/coffee."

"I had hopes when they were able to accommodate an early check in but was quickly let down. The stated amenities are fraudulently portrayed. There is no restaurant except at the very bottom of a cliff not on premises. The hotel is in extremely poor shape and strongly smelled of sewer. There was not WiFi, no working elevator, no beach shuttle, not even water in the room or nearby to purchase. The pools were in dire need of a cleaning. The smell was overwhelming causing us to leave early. Do not stay here."
