"A beautiful property, slightly difficult to find initially. The room is large and clean and very comfortable. Easy to walk from the port and also to the Marina Corricella. Dining options are good in both those areas. Walkable to some of the beaches too. Staff were very helpful in given you pointers on the best spots. If I’m ever back on Procida, I would definitely be more than happy to stay here again."

"Had a one night stay here so didn’t spend a ton of time at the property but overall enjoyed our stay. Safe, clean, comfortable, affordable & convenient. Our room seemed a bit unique compared to other stays i’ve had. Garden area, pool & bar area was nice. Bruno working at the hotel was exceptionally wonderful as well. Would stay again. "

"Carlo, the owner is really nice and does its maximum to help. The view from the terasse is just stunning. The breakfast is wonderful and I strongly encourage you to take the dinner option because it was delicious. The room was large and nice but we miss a tea/coffee in room and the pool seems not very well maintained."

"We truly enjoyed starting in the houseboat. Lorenzo was super helpful and communicative. He even helped us connect with our boat tour captain. The houseboat was clean and well equipped. He even brought us breakfast! Definitely recommend!!"

It's as lovely as you would guess from pix

"Just returned from an 11-day trip to Italy. Stayed in 5 different hotels, most of which were booked through hotels.com. This was BY FAR the best accommodation of trip. The service was impeccable. I felt treated as if I were royalty. Breakfast is made to order and the selection is fabulous. My room had a lovely patio that was steps away from the pool. While the pool was open, I did not take a dip because of the weather. The bed is comfortable. Pretty much everything about this hotel is top notch. For those who like to walk - and Procida is a "walker's" island, the hotel is within 20 minutes by foot to il Postino beach and the main town/ St. Michael's Abby. You're even closer to one of the best belvederes of the island and the local spiaggia. LSS, I cannot recommend this hotel enough."

Calacala rooms, restaurant & farm experience

"Calacala was our favourite accomodation throughout all of Italy. The family-run service really shines through and the hospitality is unmatched. The food in the restaurant cooked by Salvatore and his team is some of the best we have ever eaten with a whole farm to table approach. Eduardo's garden/farm is beautiful to visit, and it equally shines through in the food. The rooms are comfortable, and we could access the whole island easily on an electric push bike. We wish we had booked for longer than 3 nights! "

"Perfect spot to relax for a week. Rooms are a good size and the pool is nice and spacious. Plus, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Only a few downsides: the pool lining is black so the water gets really hot; the air con isn’t very efficient so rooms don’t get super cold; the hotel is a decent walk from most parts of the island so you need to take the hotel shuttle, which charges €5 per person each time. There is a sister hotel closer to the restaurants but lacks a pool. "

"The shower leaked and was dirty. Operators said they would send a cleaner - they did not do so. Shower drain was blocked. A repair man poured drain-cleaner down it . The bidet leaked onto the floor. The entire bathroom smelled permanently of stale urine. I purchased cleaning fluid, but this did not get rid of the smell. The toilet seat was not fixed to the toilet. The door locking system battery was running out of battery power. Only on1 of the 2 hobs worked. All of the above reported to the operators - no action taken by them. Half the levers for the louvre doors were missing. The advertised swimming pool did not exist. "
