"The location of this place is bonkers: you literally offload from the lift and you’re home. It’s also a very short walk to the village and being able to drive right up to the unit was very convenient. The layout with the shared gear area was perfect, and the hot tub upstairs was amazing. The owners, who live upstairs, are really lovely, considerate and responsive, and I hope we have an opportunity to stay here again one day. My wife and I and our two teenage daughters absolutely loved our time...

"This is a nice condo that is right on the ski slopes. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Overall it was well maintained. The main issue we did have was a fair amount of dog hair on the carpets/furniture so beware if you have pet allergies. Otherwise a good stay."

"This was our 5th time to Silver Star and we’ve stayed at a variety of locations. This one was so convenient and one of the best for everything. When picking a place we are mainly concerned about ease of ski in/out. Ski out was so easy as we just walked about 20 steps into the parking lot and took off down the ski out to silver queen. Ski in was just as easy, criss-cross all the way to the condo. The condo itself was perfect for the three nights. We have 2 teens who don’t have an issue sharing...

"The property was exactly as described. Very spacious, lovely decor and had everything we needed for the perfect ski holiday. This property is really a home away from home! We loved sitting in the hot tub at the end of the day enjoying the view and serenity. Very easy to ski down in the morning. It was more work getting back at the end of the day, although you can get the bus from the village back if you don't have the energy. We enjoyed the variety of ski runs especially in Powder Gulch. "The first thing that struck us was the comfortable and cool temperature of the downstairs suite. It was most welcome on a hot weekend. The newly finished place was spacious and comfortably furnished. Everything was very clean. There were only two minor causes for concern: first the can opener broke or was already broken (no big deal just inconvenient), and second the noise from upstairs was really noticeable in the front bedroom. We were unlucky to have guests upstairs who were not concerned...

"The unit was very clean and well set up with everything we might need. We were especially impressed by the kitchen: it was very well stocked and everything seemed quite new. We had our dogs with us, and it was a comfortable place to be with them.We liked that there was a foyer just for this lower level unit, where we could leave our skis, boots, etc. The laundry room was right there too, so very convenient. The only minor drawback was that there were loud footsteps from the family above us...

Rob the owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, even setting up a Christmas tree with little native Australian animals amongst the decorations on the tree!
