"It was a really enjoyable experience - the room was stylish, cosy and clean. Location of the chlatet is also great, close to town and the cable car. The only disappointment was that we were not aware their restaurant was closed during that weekend, although we much looked forward to dining there based on the good reviews we saw!"

"A gem off the beaten path! If you follow the host's directions together with your car navigation/phone GPS, you will have no problems finding it. We had a room out of 3 available, a shared bathroom, and a shared kitchenette (which we didn't use). The toilet in the room we had made loud sounds when we flushed, and there was an instruction advising us not to throw toilet paper in it, so we ended up using the shared toilet in the common area. "Good stay in Chamonix. Check-in at 1700hrs is quite late and ahould be revised. As a seasoned traveler this is the first time I've ever seen such a late check-out followed by a 1000hrs check-out. Grateful that the check-out was extended to 1100hrs and yes the check-in time is indicated when making the selection for the hotel but just unfortunete. Overall nice stay at Balcon de Savoy."
