"We really enjoyed the flat. Enjoyed the inner courtyard and having it on the ground floor. Very close to parking. Making dinners at home is always enjoyable and then walking on the wall to gelato is a highlight. The air con in the bedrooms was great! And having a bathroom on each level is rare. Sitting on the balcony, listening to the serenades in the square below in the early evening was my favorite part of the day. The beds are super comfortable and the bathroom showers spacious. "This apartment was exactly what one would expect when staying in Lucca. It had the old charm of Italy. The terrace was spectacular! We spent as much time as possible sipping wine and having dinner on it. The kitchen was well furnished for cooking even large meals. The only con to staying here is the stairs. Carrying luggage up five flights of stairs was brutal. This place is not for anyone who has knee or hip issues. This apartment would be a 5+ if the building had a lift."
