"Stunning space in a beautiful location. Quiet relaxing and calming. Lovely touches including automatic night lights, Christmas decorated tree outside (definitely going to steal this idea), very generous welcome pack. Fabulous shower and comfy bed. "The Stables is a charming and spacious property. We were thrilled to find it beautifully decorated for Christmas and an amazing basket of goodies/treats that we enjoyed throughout our stay. We were disappointed to find many of the light bulbs burned out or nonfunctional, leaving no lighting in the main hallway. "Lovely log fire, which made it very Christmassy. Host was very welcoming and flexible about check in.Great kitchen space with a good range of cooking pots and pans.Ely is within walking distance with a lovely market a couple of days per week: some great local produce.The cathedral was lovely and with a short walk to the riverside. "Great host. Plenty of space for contractors working in the area. Easy check in and out Comfy beds "

"This is a lovely, spacious and well-appointed house. It was too hot to make best use of the duvets, but the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery - and a dishwasher to avoid the washing up. The powered recliners were especially welcome after a day of much walking. Naturally there is quite a lot of farm activity in the area, but it was far enough away not to be intrusive, and the people on the farm were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a property to remember."

"Really nice cottage style property with a log burner and really comfy beds. Only warning would be the stairs as they're pretty steep and the bathroom is downstairs if you need to get up in the middle of the night."

"It is the perfect mix of old and new. Convenient for shops, restaurants etc and rural walks etc. The view from the accomodation is breaktaking and the hosts are lovely."

"The house is very spacious and well equipped. The spiral staircase up to the two bedrooms is very steep and narrow, this could prevent some less able people accessing this area. It is too steep for younger children without very close supervision. The location of the house is very peaceful, great for a relaxing time together."

"This hotel is perfectly located in the City Center. I had a great experience thanks to the polite and accommodating staff. The rooms were spotless, and I would rate the overall service a perfect 10/10. However, if you enjoy a hearty breakfast, this may not be the right hotel for you. While breakfast is included, it is quite basic. On the plus side, there are free snacks available all day."
