"This property is listed as 2 bedrooms, so we booked it on the understanding that it would be suitable for my mum, dad and me (an adult woman). However, the "second bedroom" was actually a sofa bed that was squeezed into a very tight space between the kitchen, kitchen cabinet, dining table and toilet. I was therefore camped out, having to move the dining table up against the wall to be able to open the sofa bed every evening (after which time we couldn't open the kitchen cupboard), and then put my bed away every morning and move the table back so we could sit around it again. There was no door to the bedroom upstairs, and my bed was right by the toilet, so I was getting woken up every night. 2 weeks of staying in this situation became much more of a struggle than the relaxing holiday we had envisioned. That, combined with unseasonal cold, wet weather, meant we chose to leave early. There were a few other issues - light bulb dying, gas running out so we couldn't cook that evening, internet stopping working for days (not their fault). The light bulb and gas were fixed by the owners fairly promptly. The internet is slow. I was unable to work from there as I had been expecting (checked in advance and was told it was fast enough). For a couple, I imagine it would be a really sweet place. However, it was totally inappropriate for 3 or 4 adults as listed. The owners said that they had listed it as 2 beds with1 bedroom so maybe the misleading info is VRBO's responsibility."

"Farid and his wife were lovely and very attentive, the description is spot on. The pool is lovely and a large garden and black berries to pick with the kids. If you are tall though you will struggle as the bed is short with a foot board so you feet can’t overhang. Due to the agricultural location if you have the windows open there are a lot of flies. The biggest and only real let down is that the next door neighbours have dogs that bark incessantly and when you drive past they escape and really go for the car. It is quite intimidating! Unfortunately this is obviously out of the hosts control and why I would only recommend it as a base to explore unless you are of course deaf!"

"The pool is lovely, the only downside was that there is no WiFi although we managed to get mobile signal most of the time. It's 10 minutes from Sarlat-le-Caneda which has a stunning old town, it's also 15 minutes from some beautiful gardens, under 30 minutes to several stunning villages built into the cliffs, and an hour away from the absolutely stunning Rocamadour. There are plenty of caves if you enjoy that, Domme is within half an hour, and there are also quite a few options within 30 minutes to hire a canoe down the Dordogne which is a lovely way to see all the castles and villages on the river. There is also a very large supermarket on the edge of Sarlat-le-Caneda 10 minutes away and a local butcher and store that sells bread etc. Overall a lovely place to stay and very well positioned. If you're English you should be aware the communication with the hosts is all in French. But I used Google translate and communicated via text and it was not a problem."

"We stayed at this charming holiday house nearby Sarlat. We loved to be there. The house was very clean. We love to cook on our own and all the equipment we need was available. Sylvie our host was very welcoming and friendly. Thank you so much Sylvie for your hospitality and friendly talks and to gave us peace and quit to enjoy our holiday. The house itself was very cozy with good beds! Titia will certainly use one of your recipes to try. Certainly a place to go back again and explore the superb surroundings."

"This is a lovely quiet property away from it all. It is in an interesting area, with Plus Beaux Villages, La Dordogne plus Sarlat-la-Caneda so there is plenty to do and to see."
