"This property is listed as 2 bedrooms, so we booked it on the understanding that it would be suitable for my mum, dad and me (an adult woman). However, the "second bedroom" was actually a sofa bed that was squeezed into a very tight space between the kitchen, kitchen cabinet, dining table and toilet. I was therefore camped out, having to move the dining table up against the wall to be able to open the sofa bed every evening (after which time we couldn't open the kitchen cupboard), and then put my bed away every morning and move the table back so we could sit around it again. There was no door to the bedroom upstairs, and my bed was right by the toilet, so I was getting woken up every night. 2 weeks of staying in this situation became much more of a struggle than the relaxing holiday we had envisioned. That, combined with unseasonal cold, wet weather, meant we chose to leave early. There were a few other issues - light bulb dying, gas running out so we couldn't cook that evening, internet stopping working for days (not their fault). The light bulb and gas were fixed by the owners fairly promptly. The internet is slow. I was unable to work from there as I had been expecting (checked in advance and was told it was fast enough). For a couple, I imagine it would be a really sweet place. However, it was totally inappropriate for 3 or 4 adults as listed. The owners said that they had listed it as 2 beds with1 bedroom so maybe the misleading info is VRBO's responsibility."

"Farid and his wife were lovely and very attentive, the description is spot on. The pool is lovely and a large garden and black berries to pick with the kids. If you are tall though you will struggle as the bed is short with a foot board so you feet can’t overhang. Due to the agricultural location if you have the windows open there are a lot of flies. The biggest and only real let down is that the next door neighbours have dogs that bark incessantly and when you drive past they escape and really go for the car. It is quite intimidating! Unfortunately this is obviously out of the hosts control and why I would only recommend it as a base to explore unless you are of course deaf!"

"The wow factor of this place in the outside space, the pool and the garden are lovely and it also had a table tennis table. The location is lovely - really rural, surrounded by a few houses but mainly fields and woods. We were a little disappointed with the house - it’s dark, has a small kitchen and a strange upstairs landing and stairs, that would not be good for small children. "

"We stayed at this charming holiday house nearby Sarlat. We loved to be there. The house was very clean. We love to cook on our own and all the equipment we need was available. Sylvie our host was very welcoming and friendly. Thank you so much Sylvie for your hospitality and friendly talks and to gave us peace and quit to enjoy our holiday. The house itself was very cozy with good beds! Titia will certainly use one of your recipes to try. Certainly a place to go back again and explore the superb surroundings."
