"We stayed here for two weeks in November. Great time to visit the south of France; the crowds are gone, and the weather is still decent. This rental experience has achieved top ranking in the many places we have stayed over the past decade. Fantastic location in Boulbon, about ten minutes to Avignon by car. The village itself is awesome, with restaurants, a bakery, a butcher shop and a small grocery store within easy walking distance. Kitchen is well-equipped; we cooked a lot of French food during our stay. Nice to have a dishwasher. We took advantage of the outdoor produce markets in nearby communities. Fresh seasonal products, plus cheese, olives and tapenade. Bathrooms have good showers, good water pressure. Comfortable beds. Very cosy main floor, we had a wood fire going on chilly mornings. The house itself is stone; it was beautifully reconstructed from a ruin. Its tucked inside an old fortification. Really cool. Lovely terrace outside with a masonry charcoal grill. There is a spiral concrete staircase that allows access to the top two floors (three story building). Stone stairs access the terrace from outside the house, and another set of stairs accesses it from the second level of the house. The property is not suitable to those with mobility issues. Paola the caretaker is a warm, friendly lady. The owners are very well organized, especially the house information binder, which addresses everything you need to know about the property. "

"Wonderful setting on a large vineyard and apricot farm. We chose this location as our home base for a 2 week vacation in Provence. We wanted to be halfway between Arles and Avignon, and drove all over Provence from here as well. Host Cécile is delightful. She offered us complete privacy and autonomy - the entrance and parking spot amongst the cypress trees are private - but we wanted to meet her and so glad that we did! Fascinating history and stories, and we learned how a vineyard works. C’était un séjour très agréable! Merci beaucoup!"

"We had a great time at the Aux Menier! The property exceeded all our expectations. It is very large, with a beautiful swimming pool, olive trees orchard, Kitchen is very well equipped and we cooked all our meals during two full days staying there, no need to use restaurants! It is very easy to find the place, easy parking and most importantly, communication with Christina was very easy and super helpful. The property is ideally situated - 15 minutes from Avignion and St Remy; 30 minutes from Arles and 25 minutes from Les Baux. There are also multiple biking routes around (thank you Christina for all your recommendations!). We highly recommend it and will be back!"
