"We stayed here for two weeks in November. Great time to visit the south of France; the crowds are gone, and the weather is still decent. This rental experience has achieved top ranking in the many places we have stayed over the past decade. Fantastic location in Boulbon, about ten minutes to Avignon by car. The village itself is awesome, with restaurants, a bakery, a butcher shop and a small grocery store within easy walking distance. Kitchen is well-equipped; we cooked a lot of French food during our stay. Nice to have a dishwasher. We took advantage of the outdoor produce markets in nearby communities. Fresh seasonal products, plus cheese, olives and tapenade. Bathrooms have good showers, good water pressure. Comfortable beds. Very cosy main floor, we had a wood fire going on chilly mornings. The house itself is stone; it was beautifully reconstructed from a ruin. Its tucked inside an old fortification. Really cool. Lovely terrace outside with a masonry charcoal grill. There is a spiral concrete staircase that allows access to the top two floors (three story building). Stone stairs access the terrace from outside the house, and another set of stairs accesses it from the second level of the house. The property is not suitable to those with mobility issues. Paola the caretaker is a warm, friendly lady. The owners are very well organized, especially the house information binder, which addresses everything you need to know about the property. "

"Wonderful setting on a large vineyard and apricot farm. We chose this location as our home base for a 2 week vacation in Provence. We wanted to be halfway between Arles and Avignon, and drove all over Provence from here as well. Host Cécile is delightful. She offered us complete privacy and autonomy - the entrance and parking spot amongst the cypress trees are private - but we wanted to meet her and so glad that we did! Fascinating history and stories, and we learned how a vineyard works. C’était un séjour très agréable! Merci beaucoup!"

"Sidewalk view is modest, but once inside all has been thought out to update and anticipate guest needs. Some rooms are two flights up but the staircase is wide, steps not high, and railing on both sides. No problem going up with a suitcase. Very attentive welcome. Quiet beautiful avenue."

"Nice property, pretty much as advertised. Owners were very communicative, helpful & pleasant, check in & out easy. The bed was really comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with everything you need from breakfast to evening meal. It has a nice terrace outside, but we didn’t use it to eat out on as the wind was unusually strong while we were there. I would imagine that in full summer, the shaded part of the terrace would give some welcome relief from the sun. The bathroom was good & it was nice to have a shower with some power in it. On our trip so far, the showers have been little more than a trickle, so this was a bonus for us! It’s situated in a quiet area, close to the shops & restaurants in town & was ideally close to our visits to Arles, the Camargue & Pont du Gard. Note though that there’s quite a (short) steep rise from the road to steps, so maybe not so suitable for the infirm-contact the owners first if in any doubt, I’m sure they’ll respond appropriately. We enjoyed our stay & the friendliness of the owners was incomparable & would definitely recommend it as a great base for exploring the area."

"The property owner is incredibly kind, generous and welcoming. The house is located in a calm and quiet part of Beaucaire, yet short walking distance from any necessary shopping. In the main living-room of the house, there's ample space with a well-adapted area for remote-working. My husband and I will be recommending to our kids to stay in this specific house, for its great location, AMAZING host and ease of use for those who tele-commute."
