"We stayed at this beautiful lakefront home this past weekend and absolutely loved it! Jen was one of the best hosts I’ve ever dealt with and this was also one of the best stays I’ve experienced while traveling with our family. The property was super clean and had everything we needed. The view, boathouse and yard were also added bonuses. Will definitely come back in the future and couldn’t recommend more!"

"We really liked the convenience of being on the first floor especially since the curtains could be closed completely. (We’ve stayed in other places where that was not the case). We enjoyed having coffee in the room but would have liked a little more cream and sugars. Breakfast was nice and appreciated as we wanted to get on our way without additional stops. And the bed was very comfortable!"

"We already booked a return trip - doesn't that kind of say it all?!Had a yoga retreat with 13 of us at this house and is the best! The layout is excellent. The house is well appointed. It had everything we needed.Being only a little over an hour away from Raleigh you would think it wouldn't feel like another world away, but it was quiet and serene and everything we could have asked for in a place.Edie is a gracious and very communicative hostess and, though we didn't need anything from her, was at the ready to help if we had. Lots of games and activities to keep busy too. We took the kayaks and a paddleboard out when the weather was nice enough to do so. We wanted to enjoy the fire pit but was the night before we left and just didn't have it in us - we did spend some time relaxing in thr Adirondack chairs down there during the day though.It really is a lovely, well designed, well suited home for a large group with all the conveniences and comfort to boot (even the beds were amazingly comfortable!). As mentioned before, we already have plans to return!"

"Property was very clean, has every item you could possibly need in the kitchen which is a plus. I appreciated how dog friendly the home was too, my dogs made good use of the toys and bowls they supplied as well as the “dog towels” the owner left us which was very thoughtful! My husband and I had a relaxing weekend and enjoyed fishing off the dock and kayaking. "

"This property was absolutely perfect for my husband’s birthday celebration. We all loved the swim spa but especially my 7 year old son. The cabin was spacious, very clean, and had all necessary items needed during our stay. I cannot preface enough how wonderful our hosts were. We enjoyed fishing from the beach area and the dock. My husband and I really enjoyed fishing at night while listening to the great music being played across the lake at the brewery. We definitely will be booking this property again in the future!"

"The hotel was nice but a little dated. Rooms were a good size. Breakfast buffet was clean with a nice variety of choices. Walking distance to some excellent restaurants and McDonald's as well as the main street in town. Over all it was a very nice experience. "
