"LOVED this place! The owner was warm and welcoming AND made a great breakfast. We loved visiting with others. One couple was from California, other from England, we are from Texas. "We had a fantastic stay at Mad River Inn with Brandon and Suzannah. Breakfast was incredible with a sweet and savoury option every morning. The game room is a lovely extra. The location is great with easy access to Stowe and Waterbury close by with great restaurants. Our room was comfortable and cosy - a fantastic place to stay for a weekend away"

"This property was the perfect place for our family members from Pennsylvania, Maine and Arizona to gather to be near our parents who live at Wake Robin. Given the rainy weather during our stay, we spent a lot of time in the house and loved all the community areas for cards, working puzzles, family meals, etc. The multiple bedrooms, fabulous views, and bucolic setting were wonderful! We would definitely stay here again!"
