"On our penultimate day of a short jaunt through the Ardennes, we had an enjoyable time in Montherme, visiting the Roc la Tour also know as the Castle of the Devil! There was no chance of taking a boat trip on the river as everything seemed to have closed down, which was a shame as the boat was moored there and the timetable suggested it should have been going."

"Le logement est accueillant et propre. Les chambres sont grandes. Le fait d'avoir des jeux et livres sur place pour les enfants était agréable. Dans les points qui ont été un peu plus compliqués pour nous : il n'y a qu'un WC au rez-de-chaussée et les escaliers sont très raides (avec de jeunes enfants qui se lèvent la nuit pour aller au WC, on avait un peu peur des chutes...). La cuisine est un peu étroite à 5. Mais globalement un séjour sympathique."

"Das Haus ist schätzungsweise um 1900 gebaut worden und mit vielen schönen Details liebevoll und geschmackvoll restauriert worden, ohne dass man auf moderne Annehmlichkeiten verzichten muss. Wir haben Ruhe gesucht in schöner Umgebung. Beides haben wir gefunden. Revin ist ideal gelegen, um die französischen Ardennen wandernd, per Fahrrad, mit dem Zug (Bahnhof nur 10 Minuten Fußweg) oder mit dem Auto kennenzulernen. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Gastgeberin."

"This is a very bad experience. We have been “welcomed” by the owner by him closing the door in front of us and yelling at us that check-in time is 5pm, that he does not care about us having 6 hours of driving and being tired. We were puzzled at this behavior and at this man almost scolding us. Unfortunately this hotel is not a hotel: opening hours are at 5pm, earlier than that no chance. "We had a very nice experience at this property; everything was exactly as it had been advertised. Excellent location, attractions nearby and a very cozy home. The owner was so nice, she was going to bake a cake for me, when she got to know it was my birthday. She got sick on that day so she couldn’t, but the gesture was really nice and endearing."
