"If you want a terrible night sleep, stay here. The hotel was empty but I was put in the room next to reception which is honestly terrible unless you don't want to sleep. There is a big gap between the floor and the door so you might as well just leave the door open at this stage. When I asked if I could be moved to another room, I was told I would have to pay extra to upgrade. If a hotel can't provide the basics of a quiet room, it doesn't meet its primary function. Adorable cottage with beautiful garden in quiet village

"This was a lovely place to stay. The cottage is over 200 years old, and so cozy and quaint while still having everything you need. We loved the wood burning fireplace and beautiful garden. The only consideration I'd mention is that if you are staying with very small children, the two staircases are very steep and somewhat slippery. Our kids are 4,5, and 7 and we were still nervous about them and the stairs."

Great place by the river

"Amazing cabin by the river, everything we needed and super cosy warm with the wood burner. Instructions about the property were perfect and covered everything we needed, easy to find. Location is very quiet but within a short drive of a number of towns with everything you need, plus a number of supermarkets. Loved this place, hope to return soon."
