"Virtually everything was excellent. From the size of the unit to the materials within, we had a wonderful experience. All the contact information was great (pictures made everything easy to understand). Of note, we had a minor crisis when an electrical issue locked us out of the unit. However, within 30 minutes, an email with the owner had it resolved. Simply, we were very well attended. Two things for American travelers to be aware: 1 - all contact was in English and we had no communication...

It is also a fourth-floor walkup in a residential neighborhood, with the advantages and disadvantages that brings. TV-hat nicht funktioniert. Es fehlt eine Gebrauchsanweisung - z.B. für Zugang zum Wifi. Das einzige Fenster ist die Eingangstür zu einem engen, dunklen Hinterhof, in dem sich eine Rattenfalle befindet. Man kann nachts nicht lüften."

"An excellent suite for guests altho only one toilet to share and one shower plus hand sprayer at tub. Great access to public transportation. Pretty good boulangerie/patisseries nearby. Not a good neighborhood for bistros but wonderful Montplaisir neighborhood a 15 minute walk away, with outdoor market Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Be sure to get entry instructions well before you arrive as there is no one at the apt building to meet you. Make sure you can phone the property manager to get help....

I called the host and while he didn’t speak English, my French is good enough that I was able to understand that he was not expecting any guests and the apartment was NOT available. He said he would call me back but never did. We were able to find (expensive) accommodation of the night but needless to say I am unhappy and need a refund. "
