I check-in around 8 PM for an overnight stay, was happy that there is microwave and fridge in room, but it did not last long as I found cockroaches in kitchen area. Shower was not working properly, there was no hot water in shower.

The staff that received me at the Reception around 2230 on Thursday 14 November 2024 by name Maria was a very unfriendly and unhelpful person. Most likely she has problems in race relations. Secondly, the property policy of taking $50 as safe deposit for any potential damages to the hotel facilities require serous review. First, this was not indicated in the terms of sales by Expedia. Secondly, the checking of any damages is not done in the presence of the guest. This creates room for the hotel staff to make claims against a client who is not there to defend him or herself. If the hotel insists on this policy, then it must make provision for the room to be inspected at the point of the guest vacating the room and in the presence of the guest. I hope that the hotel will return my $50 that it is withholding because I caused no damage to any of its facilities in the less than 4 hours I spent in Room 227. Medani.

I have stay in so many hotels but this one is by far the worst one I booked. First they change my reservation from a suite to a 2 room reservation withoutnotify me beforemy arrival, then the rooms were not even next to each other on top of that one of the rooms smell like weed, mold and humid. The other room had roaches as you can see on the picture. I would never ever come to this hotel again. If I was able to give this a lower rating I would definitely do it but they don't give you any other options.

This was a horrible experience. I had booked 2 nights and hit some bad traffic. I was traveling all night, a 10 hour drive. At 9:45 PM, I had called the property and told them that I was stuck in traffic in NYC. I explained that my GPS said I would be there at 1:45 AM. I let the front desk know this and the person I spoke to told me that it was not a problem. They said as long as I called and told them, they would hold the room. I arrived at 2:15 am and the person that was there told me they had no rooms left. I explained that I called and showed my phone log to show that I had spoke to someone. He said that he had no rooms left and that they had received no money from me to refund. He kept saying that. I told him that I paid in full. He told me to sit down in a very cold way. I asked to speak to his manager and he called the manager and wouldn’t let me speak to her initially. I then told him I was going to issue a complaint against this place with Expedia and the Better Business Bureau. The manager must have agreed to speak to me at this point. She told me that they sold the room and there was nothing they could do. I demanded my money back and asked her to contact Expedia to authorize the refund. She said I had to do this. Then, someone else came out to the front desk and apologized to me for this. By this time, it was after 3:00 AM. I was exhausted. He told me he would take the phone call from Expedia and authorize the refund right away. Not good exp

Very difficult to reach staff at Front Desk when I called regarding my refundable deposit that remained on my credit card. I called every day for 3-5 days after the time had passed for the deposit to be refunded and no one ever answered the phone or returned my call. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company to get my $100 refundable deposit credited back to my card. I also had to keep asking for a sheet, pillow and blanket for the sofa bed for my son. I asked 3 times and kept being told that someone would come right away. Four hours later, I went down to the Front Desk and the gentleman told me the sheets were being washed! What?!? Then, he said someone would bring the sheets, blanket and pillows to my room. I told him I would wait because I had already been told that 4 hours ago. He walked into a back room and came back with a blanket, a sheet and a pillow. This was a poor experience and I would not stay here again nor would I recommend this location to anyone I know.

Room was clean.. but found 3 roaches on 3 separate trips to the bathroom.. was told i would be given my room deposit back right then and would have a manager contact me about the roaches.. a week later, still no calls and no deposit return. Staff on site was friendly as i was to them as well.
