One bedroom apartment located in the peaceful seaside village of Stalos in Chania, Crete. The apartment is a short 10-15 minute walk from the beach or just 2-3 minutes by car. It is also around 8-10 minutes by car to Chania city centre. It is self-contained and enjoys use of a large garden with sitting areas and views of both the sea and the neighboring hills. It also has its own parking area. As a side note, the property is also available for long-term rentals, especially during the winter.

Basic, comfortable and secluded.
At the price this place is a bargain. Stellios (the landlord) is friendly and helpful. Replacing the dining table with a smaller one placed under the window and an additional easy chair would improve the usability but it is an ideal pied a terre for exploring the area. A car is advisable and you really need to like cats, one of Stellios' made a determined effort to move in with us.

friendly, clean, real Greek, nice,
The small apartment in Stalos near Chania was wonderful. The equipment was complete and the furnishing was very nice. However, the best was Stelios, who is the Host and lives on the first floor above. He is very kind and brought us fresh fruit from the garden, as well as helping us out whenever we had a question or some kind of a problem. Of course, you could find some hotel with more luxury, but if you are like me and my girlfriend who wanted to experience Greek life and real kindness, you are totally on the right spot here. We will definitely come back in some time and I cannot emphasize enough how happy we are with our stay at Stelios'.
