If you like cockroaches, you'll like this hotel!
Wanjia Hupan (Waterfront) hotel is a smaller eatablisment near the South Lake in Changchun.
Upon arrival, I noticed the carpet in the room hadn't been hoovered. The bathroom floor still had former guests hair on it. I called housekeeping (using Chinese) to let them know about my dissatisfaction. They came with a small brush, intended to swipe up the dirt on the floor and on the carpet. I told them they need to use a vacuum cleaner. Eventually they brought one, a vacuum cleaner I only saw once during my week long stay... The first evening I was surprised to discover cockroaches in my room. Running on the desk, on the curtains and on the bed. I asked to have the room changed, which proved to be impossible. The hotel was fully booked. The next day I asked again, and got another room on a higher floor, since I was told the roaches came from their restaurant on the floor right underneath my first room.
The breakfast isn't included, neither has anything else than duck heads, warm vegetables and green tea.
Pros +

Cons -
Cockroaches
Filthy carpets who never gets vacuumed
Poor amenities. You'll only get half a roll of toiletpaper...
Extremely poor breakfast
