"We enjoyed our stay in this lovely setting. The hosts were friendly and very responsive. Bedding needs and towels were not provided as part of the rental and we had to pay an extra fee of 50 euro for sheets, pillow case and towels. We think this should be included in the description rather than provide this information shortly before rental date. Also given it was winter time and the radiator heat was not sufficient to keep us comfortable, we would have appreciated extra blankets. As such we...

Well-appointed kitchen, comfortable dining room/lounge communal living quarters, patio with bbq with a wonderful view of the rolling Normandy countryside, then upstairs to 4 large and comfortable bedrooms. So much room - this really is a lovely house."

"If you are looking for pure relaxation, this is the place to come! The site is beautiful with good facilities. The local town is charming with supermarkets nearby and a great selection of restaurants. There are some interesting places to visit within half an hour as well as about an hou's drive away. Great information on sights provided at the gite andthe hosts wete very responsive and hospitable - totally recommended!"

"We enjoyed our stay here! So much history with the house, and a very quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. After fighting through the crowds for the Normandy anniversary, it was nice to come back to our quiet corner of France. Would definitely stay again!"

"Beautiful property and grounds with lots of sunny spots and shady spots. The pool was beautiful too. We did a couple of day trips out but mostly just chilled out and made use of the pool and table tennis. There was also a tennis court with basket ball hoop but we didn’t use it. Good local supermarkets and we tried the local pizzeria and bakeries - all excellent."

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la présence des deux salles de bains, des deux toilettes et des très grands lits L'environnement est magnifique avec une vue splendide sur les vallons normands. "Nous sommes 4 amis (2 femmes, 2 hommes) et nous voulions visiter de petits villages du Perche et de la région de l'Aigle. Le charmant petit village de la Gonfrière offrait une situation idéale. L'ancien presbytère comporte au moins quatre chambres individuelles et de nombreuses toilettes. "This is a charming small gite forming part of a single-storey coach-house, which has a good private terrace with brick barbecue as well as off-road parking. Inside it's neat and compact (perhaps a bit on the small side for four people as the sofa bed would take up most of the lounge area), with a functional kitchen that has a dual-function microwave, two induction hob rings, coffee-maker, and a fridge freezer. The shower room is small, and also houses the washing machine, but it all worked fine....
