"Although not particularly close to restaurants the location worked really well for us. The accommodation we were in (1bed family/sleep6) was slightly smaller than the ones in the photos but ideal for 2 adults and 2 teenagers prepared to use a bunk bed in a room that was not technically a bedroom, probably due to it’s size, but worked well for us. "Bardonecchia is a ski resort, so accomodations are mostly ski lodges. Do not expect any large hotel chains here. We were here for 5 nights in June and had a great time. Location is close to train station and to the main street where you can find lots of restsurants. The views are amazing and did lots of walks. "A very handy location and a well maintained property. Location is a 5 min walk to the slopes and nearby restaurants and shops. We rented a 6 person room for 2 adults. This worked well as it meant we had 2 bathrooms, though it meant we had more to clean before we left. The living space was very generous. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. "

"On est partie un week-end en février. A la base nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour la piscine.. après une longue journée de ski rien de mieux que de relaxer dans une piscine chaude.. sauf que cette piscine n'est justement pas chaude a notre grand surprise.. et en plus elle n'ouvre pas le samedi.. grosse blague"

"Having read some reviews I expected this to be more run down than it was. It was actually very good for the money. Linen was provided free of charge, as were cleaning items for the flat and enough plates, cutlery and kitchen items, which some reviews had said were either extra or not available, but I believe towels were extra (we bought our own). Staff were helpful, place was very well located next to the lift and a 5 minute walk to the supermarket. There is underground parking, but it’s height...

"A studio in a residential building, in a quiet part of Sestriere. Secure underground parking with lock. Comfortable and well equipped.The concierge Elena, is especially lovely and helpful. She speaks perfect English (and French and Italian, of course!)"

"The entire place is spotless and we were warmly welcomed by a very friendly owner. Her communication was faultless all through the week that, and nothing was too much for her. The Chalet is good value for money, and is close to everything in Sestriere, and a short walk to the slope and gondolas. We will recommend this property to anyone wanting to enjoy quainter or summer in the western alps."

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement. La pièce de vie est spacieuse et offre une vue magnifique. La cuisine est très bien équipée, et la terrasse est particulièrement agréable. Seul petit bémol : l’agencement du logement en deux parties et le bruit des tuyauteries, mais cela ne nous a pas empêchés d’apprécier pleinement notre séjour. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir ! "I cannot express enough gratitude to the incredible team at Hotel Majestic Sansicario for making our stay truly unforgettable! A special thank you to the manager and the amazing team for catering to our needs with such care and professionalism, especially in celebrating a special birthday. Their attention to detail and exceptional service made the occasion even more memorable. They provided fantastic recommendations, personalised service, and truly went the extra mile to ensure our family had the best experience possible. The warmth, dedication, and hospitality of the entire team were second to none. We could not have asked for more. 1/5 Terrible

"The hotel from hell. They say check-in is from 4pm which is already quite late, but don’t expect to get your room key until 6pm. Chaotic queues at check-in and it took people several hours before they got their room keys. Apart from that the hotel is run-down, tired and untidy. Certainly not worth the price. In the end we didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Fortunately it was only a one night stay. We were only too happy to move on in the morning."
