"Although not particularly close to restaurants the location worked really well for us. The accommodation we were in (1bed family/sleep6) was slightly smaller than the ones in the photos but ideal for 2 adults and 2 teenagers prepared to use a bunk bed in a room that was not technically a bedroom, probably due to it’s size, but worked well for us. "Bardonecchia is a ski resort, so accomodations are mostly ski lodges. Do not expect any large hotel chains here. We were here for 5 nights in June and had a great time. Location is close to train station and to the main street where you can find lots of restsurants. The views are amazing and did lots of walks. The accomodations were clean but basic; fridge and microwave eere a plus. The shower was very tiny, so big guys might have some challenges. The owners were very nice and helpful. I will...

"A very handy location and a well maintained property. Location is a 5 min walk to the slopes and nearby restaurants and shops. We rented a 6 person room for 2 adults. This worked well as it meant we had 2 bathrooms, though it meant we had more to clean before we left. The living space was very generous. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. "

"Lovely, quiet, tons of space. Cows grazing in the backyard which we watched from the deck. Be aware there are no restaurants so get groceries before to cook in the full kitchen. Luckily we found a food truck"

"On est allé pour faire de le ski, et nous avons une très belle expérience. Juste à côté des pistes (5 min à pied). La maison est correcte, au niveau d’espace et propreté. La piscine n’est pas trop grande, mais elle suffit pour un petit bain après le ski. On a trouvé le personnelle très attentif et gentil. "

"Great location at the top of the resort. Apartment was overall nice, beds very uncomfortable, we had to use all the blankets to lay on!! Staff helpful. Didn’t use pool as no time! Beware of all the hidden extras when booking- extra for towels, Wifi, end of stay cleaning, tv (don’t buy as all french shopping channels!) Comfort pack including all this was €129 for the week. "

"Apartment just like on the pictures. Good size for 2 adults and 1 kids. 2 kids would be okay but no more than that. Not too much storage. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Appliances such hairdryer, raclette grill, fondue are available upon request at the front desk. Spa/jacuzzi is a plus. Red slopes is few feet from the lodging pretty frozen at 9am but that’s the only way if you don’t want to walk 6-7 min"

A la base nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour la piscine.. après une longue journée de ski rien de mieux que de relaxer dans une piscine chaude.. sauf que cette piscine n'est justement pas chaude a notre grand surprise.. et en plus elle n'ouvre pas le samedi.. grosse blague"

"Having read some reviews I expected this to be more run down than it was. It was actually very good for the money. Linen was provided free of charge, as were cleaning items for the flat and enough plates, cutlery and kitchen items, which some reviews had said were either extra or not available, but I believe towels were extra (we bought our own). "Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement. La pièce de vie est spacieuse et offre une vue magnifique. La cuisine est très bien équipée, et la terrasse est particulièrement agréable. Seul petit bémol : l’agencement du logement en deux parties et le bruit des tuyauteries, mais cela ne nous a pas empêchés d’apprécier pleinement notre séjour. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir ! "The hotel from hell. They say check-in is from 4pm which is already quite late, but don’t expect to get your room key until 6pm. Chaotic queues at check-in and it took people several hours before they got their room keys. Apart from that the hotel is run-down, tired and untidy. Certainly not worth the price. In the end we didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Fortunately it was only a one night stay. We were only too happy to move on in the morning."
