"Service was very friendly. Good: Room was large, had a fireplace with a stack of wood and matches provided, a small balcony, Directv, comfortable bed, nice and quiet. Bad: We couldn't figure out how to adjust the heat, bed had sheet & comforter so you spend the whole night throwing the comforter on & off as you get too warm (WHY DO HOTELS DO THIS?); fridge made annoying noise. "Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We were in the area hunting and was using the hotel as a base camp and resting station. It was great. There was a small issue with the TV. But I let the front desk know and they offered to put us in a different room but the problem wasn't big enough for us to move rooms."

"This was once a nice place. Owner is a cheapskate, won't spend money on necessary repairs. The staff is as helpful as they can be given the circumstances. Office is not manned at night, if you have a problem yer out of luck. Linens are threadbare. None of the services advertised online are available."
