We had completely underestimated the number of steps both to the property and once in the property. 2. Nothing to do with the property but the local road works were difficult to navigate. In fact put The Met into your Sat Nav not the property postcode then follow your written instructions otherwise you may find yourself going round in endless circles. We would stay...

"We are pensioners who often visit the Island to catch up with friends. This was the best apartment we have found for cleanliness , comfort and locality for a relaxing break. "First time at Saltys on a trip to Ventnor. Fist impressions were the amount of steps but then the property is on a hillside. You couldn't get better views of the sea once you've climbed to the flat. If you can handle the steps there is no better place to stay. Only gripes would be the dirty oven we had to wash before being able to use and the cheap bedding/linen and lack of loo roll. Would have no hesitation to return."
