"Small room and quite dark. The bed was OK. The shower was not at all isolated from the bathroom. I had to carry the luggage upstairs. The receptionist was friendly and forthcoming with information. "Booked this hotel as part of our Rhodope mountain trip. Would not recommend. The hotel is in the middle of an uncharming village, with lots of falling apart barns and houses, which l believe represent the real village life as opposed to nearby places like Shiroka Laka, which seems more ‘tourist-ready’ (and probably accommodates the romantic tourist Orpheus idea better…). GBP 44 for one night is simply a rip off for this place, no matter how you look at it. The bathroom looks nice and new, but...
