"Great was welcomed and upgraded on arrival, to a room with air con, staff were very friendly and helpful, the only negative is I felt that the breakfast was overpriced, however it was presented very well and each day was a different treat. But at nearly 30 euros including tax this was a bit excessive for breakfast."

"My usual hotel appeared to have been fully booked so I decided to give the IJsselhotel, sorry the Pillows Luxury Boutique Hotel Aan De IJssel a try. The location is amazing, right across from the town on the river. To get to the other side there is a small ferry throughout the day. My room was amazing. "Overall we enjoyed the place. The staff was nice at check-in and check-out. Didn't talk to them. Did notgo to the snack bar / cafe. Did not use the pool as it was was 50F. There is an stove top and refrigerator. There is a really nice trail near by. I didn't know how to turn on the radiator. Fortunately, a friend of mine who visited helped. "This property is beautiful, a very homey and quaint B&B. The room was wonderful and the location perfect for wandering around Apeldoorn. Breakfast was fantastic, and Petra was an amazing host! If we ever pass by again we will DEFINITELY stay at the Zenzez!"

"We booked our stay through Expedia but didn’t realize until we arrived in the town that the exact address wasn’t provided. Since it’s such a small town, we decided to stop by the local grocery store, which happened to be right across the street. The staff there were incredibly helpful—they quickly got us in touch with the property owner, and everything was sorted out within minutes. Once we were settled, the property itself was fantastic! Parking can be tricky in these small towns, but we managed to find a spot nearby. Edith and Teun were outstanding hosts and went above and beyond to assist us, especially since we only speak English. I would highly recommend and gladly stay here again if the opportunity arises."

"The room was tiny, dirty and stuffy with no AC to help regulate the temperature. We had to pay extra for a bed that I would have assumed came with the room as I booked it for three people. Staff were often not around at the front desk to help, because they were short staffed. Machines in the games room, stopped working (although a discount was offered when this happened). Breakfast was okay. But the restaurant was overpriced and poor quality. We ordered Patas Braves and got and burnt plate of sweet potato fries. The sauna and gym were appalling. The sauna basically didn't work or couldn't get up to temperature and all the games (tennis, bowling) cost extra. Finally we didn't have a car which I now know was a mistake. Not the hotel's fault, but travel to Zutphen was terrible and confusing, with two buses an hour that go away from the hotel. "
