"Property was well set out and a good size, two bedrooms plus lounge and kitchen. Owner was friendly, met us there at the agreed time for handover. Village is very quiet, with a well stocked shop two minutes walk away. Motorway is an easy drive away."

"A group of 10 friends stayed at this gem of a place and we all loved it! From the start communication with Iva, the host, was very pleasant and detailed and helpful. The actual house was perfect, clean, comfortable and unbelievably well stocked. Iva thought of everything. Not only did we have fresh bread every morning but she had the kitchen stocked with coffee and other food stuff for us to eat. She gave us a wonderful welcome and is a ray of sunshine and a font of information. She and Natalia also arranged a wonderful meal for our group one night and made reservations for us another. I can’t recommend this place enough! I’m hoping I get to return someday!"

"This is a beautiful location in the hills accessible to Porto. Spacious property. We appreciated the decent-sized pool, the fruit trees and the games room. Communication with the owners was excellent and Miguel was always very helpful. The property is15+ minutes walk to the train station. Bolt taxis are not expensive. So we found this worked well without hiring a car. Lovely holiday."

"We arrived late in pouring rain! Maria had forwarded a video of how to get to the property, unfortunately as we were coming from the North our Sat nav took us a different route which was along a v narrow bridge over a river. The property is at the end of a v steep road 1/10. We had to drive very slowly and I feel I confident drivers would find this hard. The property was exactly as we had seen online. We were given the wrong gate code and house code so I was constantly WhatsApping Maria or calling her. Unfortunately there was no hot water but whilst we were out María organised for a man to change the gas tank and all was well. As it had rained so hard the pool had got dirty but wasn’t bad enough not to swim in. It took us 20 mins to drive to Porto for the day and it was lovely to come back to the peaceful surroundings and pool. The kitchen needed a vegetable strainer and we felt we could have had a few dishwasher tablets leaving. The bed was very comfy. Maria was very friendly and did everything she could to help. I could imagine this being a wonderful place to have stayed if our weather had been better! The bathroom is downstairs which some people may find difficult in the night. It was a very cool property."
